Symptom: Water appearing on the galley floor, from behind the panel under the garbage holder. Where was the water coming from?
Finding: Looking in the back cabin engine access panels, I could see the exhaust path. A bulging hose on the wet exhaust pipe and STEAM spraying out under pressure was leaking water all over the place. Holy mackerel Batman!
Fix: New hose, new clamps, thank gosh!

Rick,
Glad you found the leak, but some would say you've gone backwards. The blue hose you replaced is known as a single hump silicone hose. It was not OEM, but was added by the PO to help solve another problem. With the thick, black, stiff hose you put on, the engine vibrations are more easily transmitted to the aqua-lift muffler, and might result in cracks and leaks in the muffler and its fittings. You might want to order a new silicone hump hose to replace the split one you took off. Just a thought.

Ah, I didn't realize that the bulge was intentional and silicone was for flexibility.
Hmm, makes sense. I see Catalina Direct has them for $36

And Rick's membership in our Association just paid another dividend. Thanks, Tom!

How did you know that your water lift muffler was compromised?
