Water leak behind stove

Occasionally, our C36IA Members use the optimistically-named "Ask the Experts" link to email their questions directly to our Tech Editors, Steve Frost for the Mk I and myself for the Mk II. Almost always Steve, and rarely I, are able to answer their questions. My fallback is to recommend that the question be posted in this Forum, to harness the knowledge (power) of the ourstanding participants we have here. In this case, I am going the extra step and entering the issue on behalf of the person inquiring.

Jesse Wells, owner of 1997 Mk II #1647 writes:

"I've noticed water accumulation on my galley floor for months and have only recently figured out the source. There is a very slow trickle of water coming out of the hole where the propane hose comes out (behind the stove). Presumably there is a leak somewhere above this point and it's dripping down onto the hose. How in blue blazes do I access the area that's behind the stove cavity?"

Here are some thought seeds to begin with:

1. Removing the stove would not be helpful.
2. Gaining access via the cubby underneath the stove would give very limited access, but enough??? Probably not.
3. Access via the "hell hole" [a term born in profanity but become part of the technical lexicon of aviation] in the aft cabin would allow access via beneath the fridge.

Does anyone know the routing of the propane line?

Alternatively, why not try to find the leak at its source? Let's see, what's there that might be leaking? Traveler mounting? Handrail rear attachment? Winch? Clutch? Maybe these could be individually isolated and eliminated?

Can anyone help Jesse? If my boat were here in Portland I would go have a look; but, alas, it's a day's drive away.
