ugrading pedestal guard

contemplating replacing original pedestal guard with 1-1/8" (?) guard so that I can mount Raymaring chart plotter and a pod with three instruments (tri data, wind, auto) above the compass.

I would be interested in photos from anyone who has made that upgrade already.

would like also to be able to phone or email an inquiry re: such upgrade.

Brian,
I upgraded the pedestal on my boat (hull 226) to be 1 1/8 inch diameter tubes, if i had to do it again i would make them 1 1/4. i have had a problem with the size but i haven't added a chart plotter yet either. the extra space would be nice. it is relatively easy to do just make sure of where you want to place the navpod or whatever type of setup you plan on since you only get one shot at it. I can send additional photos if you have any questions. just email me offline

I've been thinking of upgrading my pedestal to Edson's Vision series. It is designed as a direct replacement with identical bolt holes. You might want to check it out. There's a video here....
