I recall reading somehere -- Mainsheet, Jibsheet, C36IA forum, etc. about adding aluminum strips made from a door threshold over the enlarged mast sail track slot for sail slug removal. This allowed the mainsail slugs to go farther down the mast and allow the mainsail and battens to lay flater on the boom. I recall the contributor was a C36IA editor. However, I cannot find the article after searching this forum and reviewing my past MAINSHEET issues. I know it is not that difficult to figure out, but recall someone had already determined a particular door threshold plate model# that had the right angles.
Anyone recall where this was posted?

It's in the TechNotes CD that you get with the 3 year subscription. In the index it shows up as "Sail Slide Slot Cover". The person that did it said to use 3/4" wide aluminum tile edging that is sold in 36 inch lengths and used machine screws to fasten them to the mast. At the end of that article Catalina put in a note saying this isn't necessary if your slugs are attached to the sail with "jack lines" below the first reef.
