Fresh water head question

Hello Community!
My first post!
I'm thinking about capping off the sea water inlet and then isolating and connecting the forward fresh water tank on my C36MKII to the head inlet.  I have more than enough fresh water capacity in the two aft tanks for my needs and figure the smell reduction and closed aspect of the system will more than make up for dedicating the forward tank to sanitation.

Anyone see any red flags here?   Will I need an anti siphon loop in the supply line?

I will value any opinions on this!

I think it depends on where and how you use your boat. I have the head inlet hooked up to the anchor wash down pump. Really need it when anchoring in San Francisco Bay or the Delta. I frequently have crew for longer adventures...so I need that big forward tank for all the dishwashing and showers.

If you don't take more than weekend voyages, or tend to hop from marina to marina, your idea should work just fine. Might depend on the type of head you have. I know that some boats have heads designed for fresh water that use minimal water. They just simply T the head into the entire three tank fresh water system and leave it at that.

I use fresh water to flush using the pullout faucet head. No mod needed. The next owner may want to use the bow water tank as it was designed for.

I plumbed the sink drain to the water supply for the bowl. You wash your hands and flush with the same water. Amazing difference in the cabin odor. 5 people on a mooring for 4 days and just 2 aft tanks were perfectly adequate. I didn't "cap" anything. A simple valve turn to return everything to normal.

We also use the pullout head sink faucet and have for over 18 years, including lengthy cruises.  No odor.
