Removed Fold Out Table in Cockpit

I decided to remove the factory-installed cockpit table a few weeks ago and now I am wondering why it took me so long to do so. I asked myself how often we have more than my first mate and I onboard for a meal? The short answer is hardly ever. I removed it and used 5200 to fill in the holes in the cockpit. I then took it to a local nautical consignment shop. I then went to www.sailboatowners.com and purchased one that is made of starboard. It folds out of the way and is just perfect for us.

We can now go from side to side quickly to adjust the sails and it is a snap to clean.

Glenn,

Do you have a picture or a link to the table you bought? I am looking for a table and haven't made up my mind as to which to get just yet. Looking for ideas.

Thanks - Tim
