I have not checked in here on the forum, thought I would touch base.
I sold Cepheus on December 23rd, the adage that the happiest days in a boat owners life is the day he buys his boat and the day he sells it. I will state that is not true, I had tears in my eyes when walking away from Cepheus for the last time. I had a great time with the boat, it was very good to me.
I also truely enjoyed this group and wish your and Larry the new owner of Cepheus the best.
My priorities shifted, I found very little time to sail and now have a need to make a 300 mile trip up the river once or twice a month. I opted for something that goes upwind a bit faster, 130 Knots will make this trip faster than Cepheus or any of our cars. It took 5.5 hours to bring her home from Seattle to San Jose, California.
Fair winds to all.

Sad to see you go Steve but wishing you well in your new endeavour. Always got a chuckle out of that unique Frost brand of humour.
For sure though that slick piece is going to go to weather way faster than a C36!
Three dimensional sailing....Have fun Good luck!

Yes, Steve, you gave many years of dedicated service to us all and we thank you. I traded in my wings for sails and you are doing the reverse.
We will miss you for sure. Wishing you CAVU!

I agree with Tom, I hope Steve sticks around.
Steve's boat was in our marina, and we also met at the yearly local SF Catalina Rendezvous. We first met when I was anchored out in Clipper Cove and he was nice enough to sail by and introduce himself.
Guess I'll just have to look up as he goes by!

Steve, I wish you the very best. I predict you'll be back on the water at some point. (Hmmm. Do I see a trawler in your future?)

Best of luck Steve ,I also sold my C36 in September, tho i am not boatless as i have the Ctow contract for our area..Still on the water but doing thirty knots not 5..The C36 is a great allrounder and a reliable work/charter boat that i kept well maintained over my 7 years of ownership..This association has been a big part of my success..thank you all
