Cruising to Boston

We're planning on sailing to Boston this July. Wondered if anyone could recommend a place to moor/stay in the city itself. We prefer moorings but I'm guessing that option is limited in the harbor area. Any suggestions on that or tips on getting into the harbor would be appreciated.

Chuck,
We stayed at the Constitution Marina last summer and liked it very much. Friendly staff, security, pool, clean and well maintained. Threading thru the islands towards the city was sensory overload (in a good way) for us. Planes landing at Logan overhead, sail and power boats all around, "Codzilla" high-speed tour boat doing spins, islands, buoys, converging channels, and the Boston skyline made for a very fascinating afternoon. Close to the famous North End restaurants and Old Ironsides. While slightly confusing, the channels are all well marked. We came in from P-Town and had no trouble. Hope this helps.

Thanks Tom... it helps a lot... just the kind of info I was looking for.

Don't know if you realize it, but my wife and I met you in Clinton, Ct, when you pulled up behind us on the dock when, as I recall, you were bringing your C42 home.
