Stop Screeching Companion Way Hatch

 Screeching Companion Way Hatch?  Many years back Graham Mackay posted a solution to a screeching companionway hatch sliding against the cabin top.  I followed his instructions to the letter and it solved my problem.
New problem is I needed to buy a huge sheet of plastic 48" x 92" to get (2) 1"x 72" x 1/16.  So needless to say I have the ability to make a lot of strips.  If you have a screeching hatch  $15.00 paid to paypal will deliver a set of pre cut strips to your door.  These really work they install in minutes with no removal or alteration to the hatch assembly.  You won't find a cheaper way to obtain this material unless you get lucky in the left over material pile, LOL  Please include your mailing address and email address.  www.paypal.me/markholzmann/15

The strips work fantastic on pre 1995 C36 Mk 1.  The Mk II has a different hatch configuration and the screeching is at the top rail versus the bottom of the channel.
Just reordered a new batch for the Mk I owners!!

Mark;
 Those strips work great on Hull #1041. I had to put a small strip of double sided tape to hold them in place as they as so slippery.
Thanks,
Bill

Great to hear all the rave reviews!  Its too funny that such a simple solution works.  I have used a small piece of rubber butyl tape atthe end near the hatch boards with great success.   I just reordered a bunch of strips and have about 15 sets on hand.

Another thumbs up on these.  The only problem now is I need to remember they are there.  The hatch slides open so easily now I tend to slam it open.
