refer insulation

My Adler-B is cycling more than i like...mines an old boat, probably not that well spray foamed but looks like access to add more is difficult.Someone mentioned adding thin rigid panels glued to the INSIDE..what is it exactly, how do you stop slime from creeping under it?

Greig,
Have you checked the Tech Notes CD? I'm pretty sure there are a couple of articles on it about adding insulation around the box. I wrote one of them many years ago.

I just had my cold machine serviced today it was running a lot. The Tech checked the entire system for leaks and found none. He then refilled the system,it does not take much Wow what a difference Total price 65 for trip charge 30 for half hour labor and 20 for freon. Make sure they use the right freon and not to over charge the system.Learned a lot from the Tech Will try more insulation this winter around box
