Playboy Marine Contractors?

Hi, everyone.

I put my boat on jackstands for bottom work at Playboy Marine in Dania Beach, FL (just south of Ft. Lauderdale).

This is about the ONLY DIY boatyard I could find in the Miami area.

They have several fiberglass/bottom-work contractors available at this DIY boatyard. Has anyone had any experience with them?

If not, I will report later on how things went with the contractor I chose.

Danny Escobar does alot of work there, I have seen his work on my friends boat and looked real nice. Sorry I don't have any contact info, but the yard could probably help with that

I have the contact info if anyone needs it.

I spoke with Danny yesterday. He appears to do good work, but will not give estimates on fiberglass work. Only works on a time-and-materials basis...at $75/hr, which is double what some of the other contractors at the yard are charging.

It has been very hard trying to figure out who is both good and trustworthy at this yard thus far.

I would do the work myself but I have to start a new job Monday.
