Today I inadvertently ran the holding tank macerator with the thru hull closed and appear to have blown a fuse. Neither the macerator nor the fresh water system pump works. Dose anyone know where such a fuse is located and what size and type of fuse it is? I have a 1999 MkII. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Macerator Pump fuse
Isn't this fuse located on the switch panel. There are push buttons just in front of some of these switches.
My 2002 boat has a circuit breaker/switch on the Power Distribution Panel, labeled "Macerator". It's the bottom circuit breaker on the left column of DC breakers.

My '97 has both the macerator and water pressure/shower sump on the same breaker (possibly the fridge too, not sure about that). Check that the button for the breaker hasn't popped out. Push it back in and all should be well.

When I go back to the boat (100 miles away) on Monday or Tuesday, I will look for that circuit breaker.
Thanks to all who responded!

Hi Roland
I have looked at the MKII wiring diagram in the owners manual and the small circle with the number inside represents a push-to-reset circuit breaker and the number represents its amp capacity. The rectangles with the "S" inside represent switches. I believe this wiring diagram is representative of the early MKII's and not the later ones such as Larry Brandt's with the circuit breaker switches as shown in his picture.
When you get back to your boat on Monday or Tuesday, could you post a picture of your electrical panel so we can see which configuration you have?

Hi Gary & Cathy
Based on your reply to Roland it seems that you have the push-to-reset (PTR) type circuit breakers that are depicted in the wiring diagram in the MKII owners manual. Based on that, your refrigerator switch should be powered from the 20 amp PTR used to power the two accessory switches.

It was the circuit breaker. The water pump and the macerator pump share the same breaker. I don't know how I could miss that popped breaker. Just stupid, I guess. Thanks for all the responses and good advice.

Not stupid Roland, just a learning curve. Believe me, we have all done something like that before.
