recommended thru hulls

Howdy all,
I am going to be pulling my boat to get a bottom job and would like to replace a couple of the thru hull fittings. Specifically the raw water intake and the one i have for the A/C system both currently have 5/8" fitting which i plan change out for fittings of the same size. My question is what to replace them with. it seems like there is a myraid of choices. I have decided to stick with marleon(sp) but when i look at the various catalogs, web pages etc seems like there a still alot of choices. any one have a specific type of fitting that has worked best for them? as a side note anyone know what size PSS bellows is needed to replace the shaft seal fitting? I know that is off topic but figured i sneak it in at the same time.
good sailing

Mike,
The bellows size for the PSS is 1-1/2". The actual size of the stern tube is 1-5/8", but PYI will tell you that the 1-1/2" bellows will easily stretch over it. They are correct.

Tom is right on, I used 1 1/2" for my PSS.

Our Mk II has all marelon thruhull/seacock fittings except for the ones added by POs which are bronze and which I am pulling and replacing with marelon. I just like marelon better because it does not corrode and if you "exercise" the seacocks weekly they do not seize. IMHO.
