installing load bearing deck fittings

I have a36Mk2 and want to attach strong points into the deck to take blocks I can use as barber hauls for the furling jib. I find that when some of the jib is furled in strong winds (we get plenty at 42 degrees south!) the genoa tracks do lead far enough forward to get a reasonable sail shape.
I thought that I would set up a barber haul system to alter the sail shape when i reef, but am uncertain as to deck strength. I have looked at the appropriate diagram showing deck strong points, but am still uncertain what to do.
Has anyone added deck fittings that need to take load?

Grateful for any help.

I sheet my genoa using inhauler/barber haulers and my #3 jib using barber haulers also. I used folding padeyes that have three 1/4" fasteners each. No problems just bolting through the deck with washers, although I have occasionally thought a backing plate could be better. The trick is that if you point load the deck, it will flex upwards under load, and if this happens near furniture, you may create gaps between the furniture and deck as they are not really bonded together. A piece of aluminum angle as a backing plate could also be bolted to the nearest furniture component and the load would be spread over a much larger area. But I think you'll be just fine bolting through the deck.
