Does anyone know a good fix for keeping the game table, when in the lowered position, from sliding out and onto the cabin sole when sailing? I don't see any stock latch or way to keep this from happening when the boat heels over. I heard a crash and the table was in the middle of the salon. There must be something I am missing as this seems like such an obvious design flaw that must have come up during the last 20 years! I would like to keep the table in the lowered position until needed as that provides more seating capacity. How have other dealt with this?
Thanks, Will

Mine is such a tight fit it is a bit ridiculous.
However, Garhauer has the table brackets on their website, I imagine a second set placed to catch the table in its lowered position would do the job?

$6 each
Another option would be a block of wood on the underside of the table the is trapped outboard of the rail the table sits on.

my '97 has two screw on rubber feet on the corners where it goes against the starboard side of the interior. These drop down over the ends of the wooden trim pieces, into which the table drops when lowered (one on the forward seat, one on the aft seat). That's the way it came from the factory, and it's never slid out; I have it lowered 90% of the time as it's my favorite nap spot:)
Not sure if I described that well enough to understand.

Thanks to those who responded. I made it more complicated; I see the fix now. Just need something to keep the table from sliding out; attach fore and aft under the back of the table to keep the table in place when heeling over.
