Gas Grill Question

I have a Magma Grill mounted on my stern rail and have been wondering if I should consider converting it to connect to the LP gas onboard, rather than using those pesky little tanks. Now, the question tha t I have is this: Should I order the low pressure or the high pressure hose conversion kit? Or does it really matter?

Glenn,
It depends on how you connect it. I just did the same thing on Juniper. I bought the Tee fitting/on-off valve, 10' of hose, and the low pressure valve that controls the Magma. On my boat, gas follows the following path: regulator is near the tank, then a short hose to the solenoid, then the Tee fitting for the Magma, then the hose thru the wall of the LPG locker. Turning off the tank obviously shuts everything off. So does turning off the LPG solenoid switch at the elec panel. I keep the 10' hose coiled in the propane locker. Hope this helps.

Thanks Tom; I believe that is is what I am going to do as well. It just seems to simplify things a bit. So, the low pressure hose works just fine huh?
