Panel Breaker

I am somewhat new to doing repairs on boats but learning fast on my 1991 Catalina 36. I purchased the boat about a year ago. Fortunately she is in great shape and not a lot to do except maintenance. This winter the main breaker on the panel has been popping quite a lot. I would like to replace it. It is a 30amp breaker. Is there a particular type of breaker I should get and where should I purchase it? Thanks!!

I am with Pat on this one, you may want to review the posts on heat in the cabin.

Since you preface the remark with the fact that it is happening in the winter time, this is a common thread to complaints about heating the cabin. If a electric heater is used and you have the water heater selected you will exceed 30 amps. On my boat I can run the heater on low, have the water heater on but, if I plug in the coffee maker, that put me over the limit.
I shed the load based on a triage mentality, coffee is the first priority.
