Finally got around to replacing my Sherwood with the Oberdorfer. The installation seems ok except the hose nipples don't point in the right direction to attach the hoses when fully tightened. Will they leak if not fully tightened and I use some kind of pipe glue? Do I need some kind of adapter?. I suspect others had this issue. If you corrected it with something please tell me what it is and where I can get it.

If you use teflon tape as the sealant on the threads, you could perhaps add more tape so that its fully tight when in the desired position....

Enrique;
You may have over tightened these connectors. Use a standard pipe dope and line up the connectors with the hoses.
