What are the exact material details of the white plastic watertanks and BW holding ?
Is this PE, HDPE or something else?
I want to do something to the weak and micky-mouse construction of these tanks by "welding" reinforcement strips on the top, make the vent connections bigger and fit a decent inspection cover.
Even with static pressure caused by a full forward water tank the aft-tanks are deformed like a balloon and now even causing the inspection cover to leak as the rubber O-ring is pushed out and filling the bilge whilst the vent is normal open and overflowing when the tanks are full.
(from previous old posts I read that it seems that this abnormal phenomenon became an issue as normally to be accepted by many users - similar as the tiny venting of the BW holding tank which gives always problems when pumping the head contents to the tank)

Hi Durk,
I believe Ronco made the tanks for the early Catalinas. Here's ther website. I used on of their tanks to replace my holding tank in 2004. I works fine, I have not replaced by water tanks their still holding up.
