Greetings fellow Catalina 36 Owners,
I have a question about the tall rig mast height? My mast extrusion is 52' 2" long which is exactly what the manual says it should be. So how does Catalina calulate a mast head height of 56' 6" from the water line. That is a difference of 4' 4".

I came up with the same for a 1990 Mk1.I round it up to 53 My book had two different heights so I went up with a tape to find out what it was now when I go thru a bridge I feel better
