In going through an extensive updating of my recently acquired 1984 (#178) mk 1 cat 36 I keep coming on things that should be updated ie the ammeter engine harness update and a whole bunch of other stuff. Is there a master checklist of updates, and things to check/maintain for the mark 1 boats? This would be super handy. I have just discovered that my aft toilet bulkhead is somewhat raised from the underlying floor. Investigation has led me to realise that my boat does not have the interior tie down metal fitting between the mast and the underside of the deck. I wonder what else is missing from the boat and causing problems by its absence. It is clear that there are some very experienced people on this forum with regard to maintaining these boats. If such a list already exists please forgive my ignorance. And thankyou to all who have contributed to this wonderful web site resource.

Thanks Nick. I have been all through the web site and have read every technical bulletin on the cd. Great info but it takes a lot of searching and reading to get it all together and I wonder if there are any issues that I may have missed. I was just wondering if anyone had created a single master check list in one place that could be used as the basis for completely upgrading the boat to the latest standard. By the time I have finished on my own boat I will probably be knowledgeable enough to create/collate such a list for future buyers in the position that I am with an older boat but wishing to completely bring it up to the latest/safest standard.
