leaking genoa track

Hello all,
My C36 Mk1 has a leaking port outboard genoa track. Water is running down in the galley behind the stove. But I'm stumped. Only about half of the nuts holding the track down are accessible (somewhat) the rest are hidden behind fibreglass, part of the liner I think. Looks to me like Catalina installed that track before the deck was joined to the hull.
Has anyone removed said track and how?
Any advice welcome.
Henk.

Henk-

Might want to first comfirm that the track fasteners in the "blind spot" are not just screws...try removing one.

If indeed they are nuts and bolts, then it sounds like you might have to take some accurate measurments and drill holes in the liner large enough for a socket head- then either patch the holes or add decorative trim. (I'd add a piece of trim wood for future access.)

I removed the Starboard track and rebedded it, several of the nuts were behind the wood trim ceiling of the shelves. I had to pry that cavity open, which caused a little damage to the trim, so maybe add a second person with as thin as a pry bar/screw driver as you can.
