For reference on our MKII, the Transom thickness appears to 3/4"-1". This observation is based on replacing the nylon thru-hulls for the cockpit scupper drains and installing dinghy davits. I would estimate about 1" thick in the anchor locker drain area, and midships area for the AC discharge. I've replaced those thru hulls too.
