Fuel Filter Leak

Has anyone had any problems with the NAPA fuel filter? Since starting to use the NAPA fuel filter, I have been getting a little fuel leak past the gasket while the engine is running.

Dumb question, are you using the correct filter? I believe it's NAPA 3390

Allan" I have not had a leak with any NAPA filters, I did have a fuel leak as I thought it was from the same filter but it came from the hose fitting coming into the filter. Check that out if you have not. NAPA, 33090 is the right filter for a M35 Randy

Thanks Randy. I haven't used the NAPA, but will change my information to reflect the correct number. Glad to hear you found the cause of your leak.

Check for debris or corrosion where the filter seats.

My Racor has leaked (very slow drip) a couple of times and I found algae and some corrosion.  Not sure who came first but what's interesting is that I had no water or sediment in my bowl.

It's getting replaced with a top loader and moved to the engine compartment.
