Hi,
I took my Edson wheel off for cleaning, and while reinstalling, dropped the locking key on the floor. If course it bounced across the floor and into the water!
The facebook world has given me some options but I would appreciate it if somebody could post a picture of their locking key or woodruff key.
It is a tapered shaft on 2010 Catalina 375?
Thanks

I recently removed my wheel and had a similar experience. Fortunately I did not loose the key. The key location is not visible from the front of the wheel. You just have to remember to turn wheel 180 degrees so that the key is on the top.
The key is stainless steel and not tapered. It is 1/4" square cross section and 2" long. If you are handy you can fabricate one. The only other option would be to contact the manufacturer.

Thanks, I am not sure if the size is tbe same on my wheel. The Edson site says 3/16" and 1" of shaft length.
I was hoping another 375 owner could do a quick measure for me.
Otherwise I will call in to the marina and measure up.
Cheers

Bought a new one from Edson for $12
I will also grab the generic version tomorrow as a spare, a little cheaper at 60c.
