Because we have nearly two hundred Catalina 36 owners participating in this Forum, it is quite likely that someone here has replaced their shift cable in the last year or two and may still have their sales slip within reach to be able to extract the cable part number you seek. If not, they can at least offer advice on whom to contact to obtain one in an expeditious fashion.

I will tell you, though, that their motivation to go to this effort on your behalf, or to offer other advice in the spirit of being helpful, depends to a great deal on you. We're much more inclined to help someone if we can connect with them personally...that's only human. Obviously, in an electronic forum we can't meet you and shake hands, but a little more information can help all to get to know you 'virtually.' So if you provide additional information about yourself and your boat, to let us know whom we are assisting, it would likely help your situation.
