I understand the newer Cold Machines have adjustable compressor speeds by changing a resistor in the thermostat wiring and/or replacing it with an external controller. The purpose is to save power when on battery or improve cooling when the battery is being charged. Has anyone done this and using what controller? Does anyone know what resistor Catalina put in the thermostat to control compressor speed?
