Sea Water Pump

My original Sherwood pump (1996) is leaking a little, rather old for a rebuild. Would replace with an Oberdorfer but not in stock anywhere and no date when will be available. I found this pump: does anyone have any knowledge/ thoughts on this pump. Thanks.

Last year about this time I bought the JMP pump from Woodline Parts online. Price was $385 or so.
My Sherwood started weeping badly but it did continue to cool the engine. The "complete rebuild kit" I had onboard turned out to be missing the seal that failed.
I needed a replacement quick and the JMP is working fine, the Sherwood is now rebuilt as a complete spare.

Pump for the M35(B)?  I just ordered the OBD n202m-908 yesterday. No troubles finding it in stock online.  The N202m-837 is a kit with mounting hardware and was also in stock several places online.

check here if this is the one you're thinking of: (I called a verified before ordering yesterday)

Bought this pump years ago from Big Blue Ocean Marine and it seems to be an exact replacement for the Sherwood & cheaper. I've had no problems with it working for at least 3 seasons. Go for it

Follow up question, I received the pump, WB7108, I noticed there is no mounting gasket with the pump. Dealer said JMP doesn't have mounting, gaskets. What did you guys do for a gasket, does OEM gaskets work or ? Thanks.

I buy a sheet of gasket from the auto store and trace the base of the pump, cut and punch holes where the mounting bolts are using a paper punch. Use a very thin gasket. Nothing special about this paper gasket.
