Does anyone know of a source to replace the twin spot overhead oval shaped cabin lights on a 36mkII? Ideally would like to find a recessed led fixture in brushed nickel finish.
Thanks,
Steve

i am working on either a single or double LED lamp arrangement which should hang no lower than 3/8-1/2" from the fiberglass ceiling boss. They will not be eyeball type or movable. They will be a wide angle down wash type to illuminate the table and sink areas. I am also working on a night light feature. The fixture will be white acrylic perhaps with some clear acrylic sandwiched between the white and ceiling.
Send end me your contact info and I'll keep you posted on the progress

If you are not aware of marinebeam here is a link to a fixture you might be interested in

I have used their offerings in my fluorescent fixtures as well as all the other fixtures for bulb replacement. Only the light over the chart table needs to be addressed. I currently can have 11 fixtures illuminated and the only draw is about 2 amps. The light at the chart table draws over 2 amps just by itself.

Thanks Gary. I may try their flourescent led fixtures. I picked up these aluminum replacements for $15 each on Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0085ICIT0/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'll have to upgrade the bulbs to led if the admiral likes them.

MarineBeam bullet led bulbs work very well in the original fixtures
