Hoping to update the discussions from several years ago about mattress toppers. I'm not looking to replace the v-berth mattress. But a nice foam topper with a quilted cover would be perfect. Do it yourself is one option. But have any of you used any vendors that you would recommend?

We use Tufted Topper; unfortunately, the owner retired and closed the business.

We did this. Got the 2" thick king size foam off Amazon, and it was a game changer! Brought one of our Vee mattresses ashore, laid it on top of the foam and traced out the shape of the Vee, and then used an electric carving knife to cut it out. Seemed a little small at first but after expanding for a day or so it was perfect. Best $90 I ever spent!

Thanks! That's what we ended up doing as well. Worked perfectly and slept comfortably. Now we're trying to decide whether to buy a fitted sheet set from Catalinadirect.
