engine cross reference

Most of us know that our Universal engines are really Kubota tractor engines in disguise. When I went to a Kubota dealer for parts, however, they refused to help unless I could tell them which tractor the engine was used in. I knew I had a D850 engine but not what machine it was used in. I found the attached cross reference list on the internet showing what engines were used in which machines. In my case the M25/D850 was used in three different machines any one of which will give the correct part numbers as long as you  are not looking for cooling or exhaust parts.

Since you have been able to get this valuable info - can you scan and upload these documents as PDF files so that we can download them?  I guess they are call Attachments here.
Thank you.

Thanks Nick;
I found that the M-35, is the V1200 engine but I could not find any vehicle it was used in. At least in that list.

Please consult the posting that I referenced above.  There's essentially four pieces of information per line: Universal Engine Model, Kubota Engine Model, NGK Glow Plug, Kubota Tractor Model used in.

The list indicates V1200 is used in tractor B9200

Not sure that I agree with this information. (At least not for all C36 engines) (Perhaps the title should reflect for M25 engines only?)
 During my camshaft replacement 2 years ago (in which I bought Kubota parts for much cheaper than Universal) I discovered that my M35BC engine block was a Kubota V1305-D...   https://www.catalina36.org/forum/technical-discussion/dreaded-cam-shaft-...

Also, see this link:  http://c34.org/bbs/index.php?topic=2087.0

Hey Howard.  Check out my cross reference at:

https://www.catalina36.org/forum/technical-discussion/glow-plug-cross-reference

and please let me know where an improvement can be made.  I list the blocks for M35, M35A as V1200 series and M35B as V1305 series.  Please note that for an M35BC, the "C" only designates "Catalina".  Although you'll generally find the -E suffix for the Kubota engine blocks when installed in a Catalina, the meaning of that letter (-E vs.-D for example) is unknown and does not seem to make a difference when ordering parts from Kubota.

Thanks Nick;
Yes,  I think all the information is there - just wanted to post that owners need to ensure the model of their engine/block for accurate part ordering.  There is a Kubota number stamped on the engine block - I believe it was in the area of the fuel distribution manifold, but it's been a while now so memory is fuzzy...
