Dodger zipper lubrication

After I had my dodger zipper sliders replaced as they were frozen with some type of white lubricant applied by the PO, I  decided to find a different lubricant.
I applied cutting board paste to the sliders generously and slid the slider back and forth a few times. That was 3 years ago. I excetsize them once each 6 moths and apply more if needef. It does not stain or evaporate. They work well.
What solution do you use.
I believe this can also be used on the companionway sliding window to stop the squicking.

I find lemon pledge works wonders too.  Spray it on, run the zipper a few times then wipe off the excess.

The white lubricant was likely Dry Lube of some type.  I use SailKote which is Dry Lube but it's more clear than some of the other brands of Dry Lube like you get from car part stores.  SailKote is great for sail guides as well as zippers.

If you use anything oil based you'll begin to collect all sorts of debris over time.  It will work great initially but you'll end of with a lot of crud over time.  Best to stick with Dry Lube of some type.
