Cockpit Cushion Foam

I am still using the original Catalina supplied cockpit cushions. After 19 years of service its time to consider replacing them.

We have ALWAYS had trouble with the very soft, open cell foam insert that, when wet, is a nuisance to dry out.

I am NOT a fan of closed cell foam.

Has anyone had success with other types of foam insert/cover material that you can recommend? Easy to dry if wet, comfortable on the bottom....especially if you experience heat and humidity?

Brian.
We replaced ours 6 years ago with the closed cell mesh type from JSI. It was money well spent and they can be left in the sun and or rain without issues. But we try and put them up under our dodger.
