If you have replaced your cable, could you respond as to where you purchased it and what the length was.
Was a difficult job?
I am wondering if it may be possible to just pull out the old inner wire and insert the newly purchased cable and wire and pull it out and insert just the wire into the old sleeve.
Catalina Direct has listed one cable - but there is little information about its specs.
Thanks.
Haro.

I thought about doing this a few years ago when I replaced the engine control cables but decided to send lubricant spray down the cable to loosen it up. I was concerned about feeding the cable because I knew the route passage way was jammed pack. I did contact CD. The cable can't really big too long. Talk with it's tech department and they should have some recommendations. I hope I am not required to do that in the future.

Haro -
I had to do this replacement a few years ago when clumsy person (oh, alright, it was me!) managed to step onto the handle and bent it. The CD replacement worked fine in terms of length, and no, it was not a difficult job at all (IIRC, maybe 15 minutes). Far easier than the pedestal engine control cables.
