How do you fasten the Catalina Direct head sink to the vanity?
The sink in the head of my 1985 Catalina 36, Hull # 397 was in sad shape. I bought a new one from Catalina Direct but I am not seeing how to secure it to the vanity in the head.
The original sink had threaded studs that allowed it to be bolted to the vanity. The new Catalina Direct sink I received did not have the threaded studs.
Also, when I removed the old sink it had some kind ot sealant on the underside of the sink where the lip of the sink came into contact with the vanity. What type of sealant should be used on the underside of the sink?
Thanks!

I put new Formica on the Head counter, when I pulled my sink, two of the sink studs had rusted off and were gone. I bought two brass 4" toilet flange bolts and used JB weld to attach them to the underside of the sink. Left the sink upside down for a day to dry. I used wings nuts and very lightly tightened them when installing. The sealant does a lot of the holding. I think I used GE kitchen & bath silicone. It's more of a home bath in there so I didn't use the expensive marine silicone version. I guess you could also use 3m 4000 or 4200 but NOT 5200. I also had to notch the counter with a jigsaw since the new bolts were off from the original holes.
