I recently cfhange my racor fuel filter and wanted to see if my engine would start (it did not) . After a couple of cranks I lost all power to my engine instruments and starter. Blower doesn't work either. I also never heard my fuel pump working. I checked my starter battery and it's fine 12.7 volts. Not knowing what to do next I also tried to reset the CB red button by the fuel pump but I'm not sure if I pushed it hard enought to reset.. Basically how hard do you need to push reset that breaker? Also could the breaker go bad? Would anyone have additional suggestions. I'm totally frustrated trying to resolve this.
Thanks

Tom;
I had a friend with a similar problem. His solution was to replace the circuit breaker with a fuse as he found the circuit breaker was bad. I'm sure Tom will be along and have a more definite answer for you. I don't recall the fuse size

Measure the voltage across the circuit breaker. If the voltage is zero - then the CB is fine. If not you can jumper with a 20AMP automotive fuse that is in a rubber enclossure and have spares available for the future.

Excellent idea. I'll give it a try. Wouldn't know what to do without these forums now that additional help on board is not within Covid guide lines.
I'll let you know if there was success.
