As I work my way around this new to me 1995 C36, I find a rather unusual toilet in the head. It has a foot pedal on the left side and what appears to be a long pump on the right side. Could this have been originally in place when the boat was built? The benefit of this toilet as it appears is that the bowl is the size of a household toilet.
Sorry I dont have pics yet but can anyone confirm it is a Groco K model and advise onhow it functions? Thanks...

A Groco K-H?
Can't tell you much without a picture. If it is a K-H, they are supposed to be good heads.... but I hated mine on a previous boat! I do not think it is original - they are expensive. The real problem is the flapper - as soon as it deforms (just a small amount) the head will turn into a sh!t fountain. Do not stand directly above while flushing - not as easy or intuitive as it sounds as the foot pedal needs pressed with the opposite side hand operating the lever. Ours had an electric option - another overpriced groco item that was just an electric motor that moved the flush handle.
The rebuild kits cost more than a new head, so out it went.
