Hi all,
I have just ordered a new mast for the catalina,
I just need to confirm the height of the boom from the deck.
If anyone is fortunate enough to be on their boat this week with a tape measure to hand please can you confirm deck to bottom of boom.
Many thanka

Russ;
Went down and measured that today for you. Here are the measurments from my late 1990 Catalina 36.
From the bottom of the goose-neck fitting (mounted on the mast) to the Fiber glass Deck is; 40 1/2 inches.
From the bottom of the goose-neck fitting to the top of the mast plate is; 40 inches. (Mast plate is that black collar that sits on the deck that surrounds the mast and it's slightly less than one half inch thick)
From the base of the boom to the top of the fiber glass deck is; 40 1/4 inches.
Let me know if you need any other measurments.
Hope that helps.
