Not sure what this plug is for?

We purchased Xena, a 2002 36 Mk II in June, and I have been trying to figure out what this plug is for. It comes out of the tubing at the top of the helm station. I was guessing a plug in for a second station mic for the vhf, but haven't had a chance to pull the vhf out to see if there is a cable plugged into it. There is no second station mic on the boat so if that was what it was for its long gone. Thought I would see if anyone had the same plug on there boat and could tell me what it was for. Thanks in advance for any help.

Troy:  I have some old handheld gps units that have the same plug.  That looks like the power/data cable for a Garmin unit.
My guess is that the PO used the handheld on a bracket for navigation and just ran power to it there so internal batteries would
not be an issue.
But I would still trace the wiring to be sure.

It looks like the connector for Raymarine autopilot remote control unit.  Do you have a Raymarine autopilot? I'll check the boat tomorrow.  Will know more then.  The four pins mate their Seatalk buss.

I do have a Ray Marine auto pilot, I hadn't considered that. I will be back down to the boat Friday, so I'll have a look. Thank you for the suggestions, much appreciated.
