Blue Sea Battery Monitor (M2 1830) ?

I'm interested in this but can't find any reviews or opinions.  Anyone have any thoughts or experience with it?  https://www.bluesea.com/products/1830/M2_DC_SoC_Monitor

I have the Bluesea VSM 422 - I don't have enough experience with the boat to see if the battery monitor is accurate - but what I've read is that the big problem with coulomb counters is judging what the battery is capable of (both at install/setup time and how that capacity decreases with age).
