Hey Chuck,

There is an error is Westerbeke's web site that lists a slight displacement difference between the M35B and M35BC models, but this is not accurate.  The "C" stands for Catalina and is used to designate the wiring option for the M35B engine.

BTW, please check the year you have listed for your boat.....
