I am looking for crew on a C36, for round the buoys racing in Rockland Maine, plus occasional longer races in the area. Race season here is mid-June through mid-September. Some general sailing background is needed, race experience helpful not necessary. Showing up regularly is the most important part of the role. Anyone in the area interested?

I am available to crew on your C36 most of the summer. I am in Rockland for about 10 weeks this summer. I arrive on June 24th.
I own a Catalina 36, Blackmagic, and keep it in Rockland Harbor. I have some racing experience on a 36 here in Fort Lauderdale where I sail on Glory Daze. Gory Daze, captained by Carl Wehe, finished 3rd in the most recent ocean race in the performance division. Carl and his wife, Susie, are an excellent team. We finished a few hundred yards behind a Beneteau 367 and killed them in the adjusted time.
I am sure you can find some additional crew through the Rockland Yacht Club as they have a list of people who want to crew. I crewed last year on one of the point to point races.
