I'm considering shipping my mast rather than carry it on deck thru the Trent-Severn this June. My boat is currently 600 miles away from me in Sackets Harbor NY. I think it would be less thna 53 ft ? Thx

Chris,
The extrusion is 50'2" (tall rig 2' longer). Add to that the masthead and anchor light, and you are lookng at about 51-52'. VHF antenna can easily be taken off.

Hey Chris:
As Tom says, its 50'-2" so it should go into a 53' trailer no problem. Where are you planning to re-step the mast? We are at Wye Heritage Marina (previously Doral Marine Resort) in Midland, Ontario, just around the corner from Port Severn. We have a mast crane for stepping where as some of the other marinas in our area only have a boom truck that goes from marina to marina at great expense for stepping the mast. You can PM me with your plans and I will do what ever I can to help you out.
