12V Fuel pump

does anyone have a part number, supplier, and price for the paper filter that is on the bottom of the 12V fuel pump?

Russ - I think you're looking for a #7 here? [url]http://www.marinedieseldirect.com/catalogs/catalog_group.php?owner=mdd&c...

If you still have the Facet pump.

Russ:
Someplace else you might want to look is on ebay. I picked up an extra one last year for a replacement. I got it for under $60 I can not tell you the exact part number but you probably have a facet which you may still have the tag on it for a part number. Here is the facet fuel pump mfg web site [url]http://facet-purolator.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=category&se...

Also if you or anyone uses ebay, here is a link to use that will get you money back in your pocket. It is free and I use it everytime. Also it can be used for a lot of major stores as well.

Thanks Craig, I'll order a couple from this site. I had this same pump on my C-30 (purchased new) that crapped out within 20hrs of use. Are these pumps unreliable and any recomendations as to one more reliable?:)

Any good auto parts store will carry the Facet fuel pumps. You need the lower pressure version (PUR-476087-E. It lists for $85, last one I got was $60 from AutoZone. The one on my C30 was 19 years old and going strong when I changed boats. According to Moyer Marine there was a batch of bad pumps and recommends making sure you get one with the E suffix.

If your filter is gunked up, perhaps you have not corrected the fuel tank to Racor to fuel pump hoses. Mentioned in many earlier posts.
