Cruising Rig Shroud/Stay Tensions

Folks,

Its been 6 years since my rig was pulled and replaced during some yard work. I did not supervise the riggers as they tensioned the rig. And six years have past since.

Does anyone have the recommened tensions (split back stay).

I am a cruiser, not racer and do not have a back stay tensioner.

a direct email would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Brian,
It is more important to have your rig tuned properly than it is to have everything adjusted to some random number. An excellent article to read on this website by Ric Blamer:

The following link is a Selden Mast tuning guide, also on this website n the Owner's Encyclopedia:

I found them both by doing a search on the home page for "rig tuning". Hope this helps.
