I currently have 3 power boats that are all insured with Boat US.
I don't know exactly what I pay, but I think it's pretty cheap.
I also have the unlimited towing. I don't go more than around 45 miles from the coast.
I did a search, and it seems like a lot of people here have Boat US too, but are mostly on the East Coast.
Are there any West Coasters here that can give me an idea on what they pay?
At the present time I don't plan on spending more that 125K for my boat.

Our boat is insured by State Farm (which also insures everything else we own plus the liability umbrella) at an annual cost of $400. The dink is separately insured at about $65. State Farm has a quite liberal offshore limit, covering anywhere within 50 miles of North America. (Not of the US, but 50 miles of the North American continent. One could do an entire continent circumnavigation with that. I think Arctic ice melt is just about at the point that this might become popular.)

Larry,
That sounds pretty reasonable.
I have a couple of policies with them too.
I will have to look in to that.
Thanks.

Pretty reasonable indeed - we pay about $1000 US a year in NZ.
