Post more! I've only been here since last October and because I'm a yappy buggar, er, a typey buggar, I have been promoted to Petty Officer. Not sure but I think that is a lowly rank as well but not quite as lowly as a Seaman. I am still waiting for the pay raise to come through, hope that happens soon.

I also have a signature line with my boat name and hull number and stuff on it, I was told that would get me promoted quicker as well. Right Larry?

Bud is right, except Larry may have been exaggerating about the last part. It is stall a GREAT idea to use your signature line to give better info about yourself and the boat.

I think that 50 postings get you to Petty Officer, and 100 get you your four stripes.
