Hi all,
Is it possible to have water beneath the cabin floorboards? If so, I might check under a few. Has anybody else found water underneath the floor?
Thanks, Bill

Water under floor boards? You bet! I had to take my floor up after the last trip up the coast and let them dry out for a few days. There was water and salt underneath. If you suspect there might be some water, there probably is.

If your cabin sole is out of the boat, SEAL the bottoms and all edges of the to prevent water soaking up through them, which causes the black areas you see on the teak and holly soles
