I've been getting some water under the engine. Not surprising since the stuffing box will drip, however it accumulates and does not drain into the bilge as I would expect it to.
There are two forward facing holes in the bulkhead thru which wires pass and thru which the water would drain (I would assume). I ran a snake thru the one hole into which I could pass the snake assuming it would come out thru the after drain hole in the bilge, but it did not (I ran about 5 feet of snake thru the line). There is no water under the galley, the area in which I would expect water to pass thru.
Anyone have this "non-draining" issue and any idea where the water should drain? BTW, water accumulates up to about 1".

On our boat #1611 water drains down the centerline of the boat. There is a hole, maybe 1/2 inch on the fwd side of the engine bay pan.under the crankshaft pulley. From there it goes under the sink, though the aft keel bolt bay and into the bilge compartments. No tubes or hoses. Just hole leading to the bilge.

My 2000 has the same two hole set up . The hole on the starboard side does drain under the galley to the bilge as described in the first response to your question. The drain holes and pathway to the bilge are uneven and rough so there needs to be a lot of water to create enough pressure to make it to the bilge. Is you raw pump leaking? It would leak into that area.

I don't think the pump is leaking.... didn't see anything when I recently changed the oil and had the engine running with the cover off. ...just don't understand why its not draining. Maybe not enough water tpo create pressure as Chuck said.

I suggest that the water may not be draining to the keel bolt bay because the boat may be stern heavy - or at least not elevated enough - causing the small amount of water unable to drain forward. The water in the under engine tray has to at least come up to the level of the holes in the tray (where the cables transit thru) to drain.
I'd try this: add more water to the tray under the engine and see if it flows forward
