Need to replace Samsung MW640WA mircowave, what unit fits into space on a 2004 36 MK II?
Also fibreglass cover and foam from bottom of refreg top cover fell into refrig. The fibreglass is the sections that houses the form. No idea how this could have happened, still fibreglass around the egdes. Any suggetions on repair or place to buy new cover?

Microwaves have been an occasional topic on the Froum, and I think if you search for that word you'll find previous threads.
I don't quite understand your refrig cover issue. Any chance you could post a photo? Replacing the insulation around the edge of the fridge wasn't difficult; I just went to Home Depot or Lowes with an approx dimension and got weatherstripping.

There have been a number of recent threads on microwaves. My old Samsung was 9.5" high and the shelf opening was 10". I finally gave up looking for a new one that would fit and went on Craig's list and found a very old one that still worked. It was 10" high and needed a little nudging to get in the cabinet. I am not sure why Catalina did not make a little larger cabinet to accommodate the newer microwave sizes.

Because that was the size of microwaves they made back then and maybe Catalina didn't have a looking glass? Sorry, just the reality of what was available on the marketplace back then compared to now. How were they supposed to know?:)

The reason for the comment is that I went to Strictly Sail this past February and saw that Catalina was still using the same sized model, although I think it was Emerson or some other brand. Thinking I finally found a model that would work, I went to the company's web site only to find the model discontinued and no longer available. I think Catalina would have known that when making 2011 models.

Not around edge, but rather the fibreglass pan that holds the 5 or so inches of insulation. The underside of the refrig top. The pan fell into the refrig, cracked right off leaving a 1" or so of fibreglass still attached to the underside of the top.
